An original lino floor tile from the RMS OLYMPIC (sister ship to the TITANIC), these floor tiles where taken from various areas of the Olympic back when she was dismantled in 1935 at Jarrow and most of her interiors ended up being installed at the the WSL rooms at Haltwistle until being sold off back in 2004. The floor tiles are exactly the same as found in the Britannic and Titanic wreck and can be seen clearly on old photographs of the certain rooms in the Titanic, Olympic and Britannic. Each tile would have been accompanied by an outer border tile, in this case it would have been white. Tile measures approx 6" x 6" x 4mm
