Recently purchased from an England based antiques store, specialised in jewelry and (other) silverware. Piece originates from a house clearance. Weight: 165 gram. Height: 24 mm (1 inch). Width: 36 mm (1.4 inch) (bottom part is 5 mm narrower). Apparently nickel coated steel. Stamped with "S.S. TITANIC" (of which "ITANIC" in small capitals). Bottom part is somewhat hollow, without traces of cut or breakage whatsoever. Possibly taken (detached) by the ship's personnel or a visitor/passenger in 1911 or 1912, before the ultimate maiden voyage and sinking on 15 April 1912. Any knowledge on this very authentic looking and apparently very rare Titanic piece is well appreciated.
