This is one of the most identifiable artefacts from arguably the most popular movie franchise of all time. The Star Wars saga certainly appears to be the most collectable of all the movies that we deal in and the requests for props and costumes from the series never stops. The evil “henchmen” that keep order in Lord Vader’s empire are the Stormtroopers. It may initially appear that they are English men in white plastic suits but this is not so. They are in fact the well regimented, well organized, well disciplined fighting elite of the emperor. This Stormtrooper helmet was used in Episode 6: The Return of the Jedi. It is different in design to the helmets used in Star Wars: A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back. It is made of white Vac-U-Formed plastic and has been deliberately distressed for filming. It is in original filming condition and has not seen any restoration or reconditioning. The inside of the helmet has a “hard hat” liner which is unique for use in the filming of the “Endor” scenes in the Redwood National Park of Northern California In 1982. All the other helmets used in the trilogy are foam lined. www.propstore.com
