Yes, the plates that JPeterman produced are marked on the back - 20th Century Fox - the original prop plates have no marking on the back - also the gold on the Peterman plates appears to have a greenish tint and the originals don't - many sellers on ebay sell the Peterman prop reproductions as original props unfortunately.

Is there anyway of telling what's original and what J.Peterman reproduced when it comes to these plates?
